The Predicador red is a balance of fruit and oak and comes from the Benjamín Romeo brothers, from Bodegas Contador. Benjamín Romeo is currently one of the most prestigious winegrowers in Spain after achieving a Parker score of 100 for his Contador wine for two consecutive years, 2004-2005.

The winery is located in the municipalities of San Vicente de la Sonsierra and Labastida, in La Rioja. This wine, for its part, comes from 12 different plots and is made from Tempranillo, Garnacha, Mazuelo and Graciano grapes.

On sight it is purple with a high layer and on the nose it presents notes of ripe red fruits. It is very mineral and with balsamic touches and fine wood. In the mouth it has a great volume with fine woods and chocolate notes in the background.

92% Tempranillo, 3% Grenache, 3% Mazuelo, 2% Graciano

With the entry of the Benjamin brothers into the project, a new, more affordable wine called Preacher began to be produced in homage to Clint Eastwood's character in the film The Pale Horseman. This blend comes from the winery's youngest vines, aged between 20 and 40 years old, located in the municipalities of San Vicente de la Sonsierra and Labastida. It stands out for its balance, its enveloping volume and its ripe tannins, with notes of ripe red fruit, minerals and balsamic notes.
