Suke Quto coffees are the flagship of Guji coffee flavor. Tesfaye Bekele, the founder of Suke Quto Farm, is one of the pioneers of Guji coffee. Suke Quto coffees are certified by Organic and Rainforest Alliance.
Suke Quto Farm extends over the highlands and valleys of the Odo Shakisso laworeda. The volcanic soil found on the farm is very fertile. Tesfaye maintains the soil in shape through organic recycling via litter, coffee root residues, and shade trees. Suke Quto coffees are all organic and certified by Rainforest Alliance.
Tesfaye works alongside 171 external producers who deliver cherries to the washing and drying station of Suke Quto. In addition to partnering with external growers, he also owns another 221 hectares in the highlands of Guji. More than 200 seasonal workers are needed to harvest and process Suke coffees.
